Mindful Monday: Spring Has Sprung!

After a long winter, we all need and deserve the light, warmth and sense of possibility that comes with the arrival of spring.

I love the change in seasons. It’s like a playground for our senses. New beginnings. Rebirth. Growth. Nature is waking up and being reborn.

And as nature is reborn so too are, we.

When the Spring energy comes in so does new inspiration. We might get the urge to open our windows, clean out our closets and invite new fresh energy into our lives.

It’s the perfect time to cleanse our outer and inner space.

This past week I’ve spent time journaling and reflecting on what I want to welcome into my life more, and that is creativity, passion and joy.

I’m ready for new energy.

How do I welcome this shift?

* When I meditate, I am inviting this new energy into my life. I am also aware of releasing old beliefs or ideas that are blocking the flow and expression of who I am, and why I am meant to be here.

* I made a vision board reflecting all of this. As a visual person, seeing these things inspires me.

* As I go about my day, I’ve started thinking to myself, “I invite creativity, passion and joy into my life.” I breathe it into every cell of my body.

When we live life with intention, spring represents a time to ‘plant new seeds of possibility, to get clear on what we want to see grow in our life.

I have no idea how these things will show up in my life. It doesn’t really matter, and I’m not attached to the outcome.

I enjoy the practice of listening to what my soul is longing for and acting in ways to plant the seeds.

I love this quote by Louise Hay…
“If you want to have a clean house you have to see the dirt.”

We are co-creators. When we actively participate in our life it is so much more enriching than sitting on the sidelines and waiting to be asked to play in the game.

Are you ready for a Spring cleaning- inside and out?

Maybe it feels like you’re ready to shake off the cobwebs and shift gears.

Maybe it feels like it’s time to bring new inspiration into your life, to plant new seeds for what’s to come.

Take some time to really check in with yourself and take stock of where things are at. Rather than focus on what may have held you back in the past months or seasons, instead focus on the possibility of what’s to come.

Where can you plant the seeds of possibility and hope?

What areas of your life can you nurture and tend to lovingly?

It feels really good!

May your days ahead be filled with sunshine and inspiration.
