Mindful Monday: Reflection + Intention

So here we are on the first day of 2024. I'm so grateful to explore and share another year with you on this path of self-discovery.

Over the holidays, I took time for reflection, as I do every year. I enjoy relaxing, journaling, and reflecting on the year that has passed: what I experienced and learned, the challenges, the growth, and the joyous times.

Reflecting helps me gain clarity. It feels good to acknowledge last year's experiences and revelations and to reflect on what matters to me as I enter a new year. This year, the two words that came forth were Being and Love.

I see how my capacity to be in the now has strengthened and deepened. There is more essence, more peace, more flow. I see the beauty of offering love and compassion to myself, no matter what.

Practicing 'being' in the world doesn't mean we sit on the couch and do nothing. On the contrary, it means we commit to being engaged in the moment and our lives rather than living on autopilot.

This year, I'd like to know if there can be space for our desires or intentions and also space for being and letting go of the attachment of how things will play out.

Can we let go of needing to fix ourselves?

Can we be here now?

Can we be present and come from a place of love?

Some years bring joy, peace, and celebration, and some bring fear, sadness, disappointment, or unworthiness.

Some years, we are building. Everything feels expansive and new. While, other years it can feel like things are falling apart or nothing is happening at all.

The question is...

Can we present? Can we choose to participate in our movie called life?

What matters to you this year?

What do you desire?

Why does this matter to you?

Take time to reflect.

Get close to it.

Write about it.

Feel it.

Align your life with it.

May we be here in the now as we explore.

This is the key.

Life is not happening in the future. This moment is what is real - as we breathe, move, feel, express, and experience.
Our soul is here to evolve.

Our journey of self-discovery is one of reclaiming our divinity - the love, truth, and peace that is our inherent nature.

I'm excited to explore this mystery with you. What will happen and where will it take us? We shall see.

If you are inspired to bring in the New Year with intention, please join me on Saturday, January 13thas we gather in a relaxing, safe, and supportive space to nurture our souls and explore with curiousity.

Sending love and light to all of you, always.
