Mindful Monday: Love Wins

For the last several weeks I’ve been on a ‘journey to self-love’ with an incredible group of women, and I am in awe of the alchemy that has unfolded.

To be in a safe space where we don’t feel the need to be anything other than who we are is sacred. And it’s all happening online.

It’s so humbling being in the presence of these women, who didn’t know each other until recently, and yet have the willingness to be real, share their fears, challenges, hopes and dreams.

It’s a breath of fresh air to witness the transformation that occurs when the walls come down and authenticity enters the space. How amazing, and all still possible virtually.

What I witness time again, is Love Wins.

Sometimes we may feel like we’re all alone; like we’re separate, and that no one feels the way we do.

Have you ever felt that way? I certainly have.

When we enter a world of authenticity the game changes.

For me, being in a safe space with others, is invaluable. It provides nourishment to my soul and gives meaning to my life.

If we feel inspired to speak, we speak. If we choose to be silent, we are silent. We honour where each person is at and there’s never any pressure to participate in a way that doesn’t feel real or good.

As we connect authentically and share, we begin to realize that no matter how different our lives may be, we do share common ground; we all have stresses, wounds to heal, beliefs, pain, and insecurities.

We aren’t alone. We are human.

We are hard-wired for connection, to love and be loved.

It takes courage to be vulnerable and take off our armour. I know it does for me. No doubt about it. We might feel raw or naked without our protective cover, knowing if we share our fears, struggles or insecurities there are no guarantees of how they will be received.

And yet this willingness to be real is the very thing that creates space for the light of our soul to shine through.

When we feel supported, we feel safe to be vulnerable. The feeling of being separate starts to fall away and is replaced by wholeness and connection.

When one person has the courage to be vulnerable, it softens the walls of everyone around them. In fact, it shifts the consciousness on the planet as we are One.

Now is time for us to connect, feel supported to be who we are. and let the light shine through our heart.

Let love lead the way.

Let down the armour and open the door to your truest self.

Yes, this pandemic has limited our ability to gather physically, and feelings of isolation can grow but connection is still possible.

I am finding online connections, like the one with this group, very meaningful.

How can we create more opportunities for people to come together in a safe and inspiring space?

I invite you to come together and let love lead the way.

Our courageous authenticity will send ripples of love throughout the Universe.

Let’s do this – together!

With love,
Diane
